What is carbon dioxide?
Carbon dioxide is to plants what oxygen is to humans.
It is one of the most important factors for the growth of green plants, among others.
All plants need carbon dioxide to grow properly.
If the plant does not get enough carbon dioxide from the air, they grow more slowly.
CO2Bag is an effective, simple and inexpensive method to produce more carbon dioxide in your greenhouse.
When and where can the CO2Bag be used?
Start using CO2Bag 2 to 3 weeks after seeding.
Poke six to eight holes in the top of the bag and hang it above your plants.
In large greenhouses, hang the bag above the aisles at best. The CO2Bag disperses carbon dioxide at temperatures above 18°C. Store the sealed bag in a cool dry place at a temperature below 18°C.
How long can you use the CO2Bag?
When the contents of the CO2Bag come into contact with oxygen, the production of carbon dioxide (co2) begins.
Note: It may take several days for carbon dioxide production to begin.
Depending on the ventilation of the greenhouse, one CO2Bag produces carbon dioxide for a 5m² greenhouse, for about 1-3 months.
How can you maximize the benefits?
Because of the extra carbon dioxide in the air, the plant can tolerate temperatures up to 3-5 °C, higher than before. However, this causes the plants to need more water and nutrients. So remember to use enough water, nutrients and light to ensure that the benefits of CO2Bag really come to the fore.
What’s in the bag?
The package contains an invention based on hydrogen carbonate (HCO3 NH4).
Is it worth installing the bag near a fan?
Yes. The fan should be nearby so that the co2 is evenly distributed throughout the room.
Can you use the product in large greenhouses?
Yes. The number of bags to be used is easily increased by the size of the room. Keep about 1 bag for every 5 m2.
