Si5-ALA is not a new product in production/cultivation, but as a fertilizer it is still not common. Growing rooms today are becoming more tuned and light levels are increasing, therefore it is important that chlorophyll levels rise evenly. The demanding external factors we put plants through must be met by the best available fertilizers and additives.
Si5-ALA is the first compound in the porphyrin synthesis pathway that leads to chlorophyll in plants. This amino acid is the essential step in which chlorophyll is regulated in plants. We use this complex amino acid in a fertilizer mixed with a unique composition of trace elements essential in numerous plant processes, enzymes, proteins and other building blocks.

How does it work? 5-ALA is synthesized from the glutamic amino acid in an enzymatic reaction.
