The “e” in the Gavita e-series stands for external control. These fixtures can be centrally controlled by an optionally available Gavita Master controller. This replaces the often cumbersome installation with switches and timers and adds several safety features such as automatic dimming of the lamps in the event of (too) high temperatures and even a safety shutdown.

The Gavita PRO e1000W fixture combines a ballast and reflector in one compact unit. This eliminates external lamp wires and minimizes electromagnetic interference (EMI), which meets FCC standards. All of our fixtures are FCC certified.

Designed for professional horticulture

The Gavita PRO e1000W fixture is designed specifically for horticulture and is not a combination of separate components. The high-quality white coating is UV-resistant and durable. All connections are sealed and equipped with quality components for maximum reliability.

Balanced design for easy installation

The balanced design allows this fixture to be easily hung with only two suspension points. This allows quick and easy mounting, for example with brackets to C-profiles.

400V lamp technology for high-frequency electronic ballasts

The 400V lamp technology provides more efficient gas discharge and delivers 10-25% more light than traditional 230V lamps with the same energy consumption. High-frequency operation prevents acoustic resonance and ensures stable output and long life.

Replaceable reflector for maximum light output

The reflector of the Gavita PRO e1000W fixture is easy to replace. Miro aluminum reflectors lose their reflectivity over time and are difficult to clean. We recommend:

• Annual replacement in dusty or humid environments.
• Replacement every two years in clean conditions.

Adjustable light output

Light output is easily adjustable via an output controller or the Gavita Master Controller. Important: New lamps should be run at 100% power for a minimum of 100 hours before dimming or boosting to avoid start-up problems and reduced performance.

Double Ended HPS lamp for maximum efficiency

The Gavita PRO e1000W fixture uses Double Ended HPS lamps, which offer the highest efficiency:

• The lamp always remains in the focal point of the reflector.
• No frame wiring blocking light.
• Smaller diameter prevents reflection loss.

High-frequency electronic ballast

Designed specifically for Double Ended HPS lamps, our electronic ballast guarantees stable output and long life. This maximizes light output and minimizes lamp wear.

Soft Start & No Peak Power

• Soft start: Unlike magnetic ballasts, the electronic ballast never draws more current than specified at startup.
• No surge: The e-series fixtures stay connected and do not cause a sudden surge in voltage when switched on, preventing malfunctions.

Advanced heat management

The ballast is fully sealed and passively cooled via an aluminum housing. This ensures optimal thermal regulation, extending the life and reliability of the electronics.

Moisture can damage electronics. That is why the ballast of the Gavita PRO e1000W fixture features a Gore-Tex ventilation plug, which keeps dust and moisture out while allowing air to circulate freely.

Status LED indicator

The built-in Status LED provides information on:

• Connection to the controller
• Lamp status (startup, end of life, overheating, over or low voltage)
• Fault memory function

HR96 Miro Aluminum Reflector

The Gavita PRO e1000W fixture comes standard with the HR96 reflector, made of high-quality Miro aluminum. This guarantees maximum light reflection and optimal light penetration into the crop.

Soft Dim Technology

When adjusting the light output, the power changes gradually, which protects the life of the lamp. This slow transition is barely visible to the naked eye.

Compatible with Gavita Master Controllers

The Gavita PRO e1000W fixture can be remote controlled with Gavita Master Controllers, offering the following benefits:

FCC Approved

The Gavita PRO e1000W fixture meets FCC standards and has been tested by an accredited U.S. laboratory. The retail version meets FCC Class B, while industrial versions meet FCC Class A as a minimum.

The Gavita PRO e1000W fixture is a complete system with an HR96 reflector, ballast and Double Ended HPS lamp in one compact unit. This model delivers 2100 µmol/s light output with 96% light retention per 5000 hours.

Reflector options

• HR96 DE: Standard reflector for optimum uniformity and deep light penetration.
• W 150 DE: Wide light distribution, ideal for large rooms.
• M 110 DE SR: Suitable for single rows and small growing areas.

The Gavita PRO e1000W with the HR96 DE reflector illuminates an area of 110×180 cm at a height of 90 cm with a light intensity of up to 1000 µmol/s/m².

Easy Assembly

With its balanced design, the fixture is easy to hang with two suspension points. Convenient brackets are available for C-profile installations.
