RFX-1 MIX (mapito) rockwool products are already washed in and completely clean, which means it is not recycled. This made it a top product perfect for hydroponics. The package is carefully designed to provide you with a convenient and efficient solution for your hydroponic needs. You get a box (size moving box) containing 3 80-liter bags of RFX-1 MIX (mapito) in a perfectly matched ratio of rock wool and foam.

Simply open the box, cut away the roll around the bags and then hold the bags by the tips and shake them up so that the bag regains its original volume. Then fill the pots to the rim, wet it (with a good root stimulator) and then place the plant in the full pot. Because the flakes are washed in, it absorbs water faster and retains its volume, so it does not sink much further into the pot.
