The UV-B spectrum helps prevent mold and bud rot, and the UV-A spectrum reduces the need for pesticides in case of contamination.
Clever minds with green fingers have determined, through scientific evidence, the ideal radiation doses at 280-315nm UV-B and 315-400nm UV-A. A single Lumatek LED bar can provide 2.2kJ\/day (12 hours) of UV-B energy and 518kJ\/day (12 hours) of UV-A energy. This corresponds to 100mW UV-B and 12,000mW UV-A. UV-C radiation has not been added to this LED bar by Lumatek. Integrate the auxiliary lighting together with Lumatek Zeus LED series, according to Lumatek’s recommendations and improve the lighting plan in your grow box.
Like most Lumatek products, you can connect the LED auxiliary lights in series using a daisy chain cable. To ensure the performance of the LED system, the LED bar has a single input and output bus for the power cable or daisy chain cable, depending on the use. A <\/span>power cable (4Mtr length)<\/b><\/a> <\/span>and <\/span>daisy chain cable (1.5Mtr length)<\/b><\/a> <\/span>are available separately and <\/span>not included in delivery<\/b>.

Should your plants not tolerate the extra radiation doses of UV-A and UV-B well, increase the distance between UV lamp and plant or try reducing the light output by shortening the number of light hours.
